DOMUNDER 4x internationale Awards

Op 30 april 2015 heeft DOMunder, bij de “Museum and Heritage Awards” uitreiking in Londen de “International Award” gewonnen als beste nieuwe museum dat in 2014 buiten Engeland is geopend.

Waarom werd voor DOMunder gekozen?: “The judges loved the innovative en creative us of technology which was an intelligent solution to the challenge of interpreting archeology, successfully creating a sense of place and bringing structural foundations to life!”

En op de jaarlijkse conferentie van “The European Museum Academy” op 8 mei 2015 in Brescia (Italië) mocht DOMunder “The Best Achievement Award” in ontvangst nemen in “The Heritage in Motion competition 2015”.

Het juryrapport zegt: “DOMunder is a complex and multi-layered, immersive experience which uses the original historical setting and original objects to tell a complicated story. This is an innovative approach to archaeological research which succeeds in providing a well-balanced and engaging mix between a real and a virtual experience.”

En zeer recent heeft DOMunder een eervolle vermelding gekregen van de “German Design Council” voor de German Design Award 2016. In tegenstelling tot de Dutch Design Awards is dit een internationale competitie.

Ook heeft de jury van de “WIN Awards 2015” (Engeland) DOMunder tot Award winner uitgeroepen in de categorie Museum and Exhibition Space. Bovendien is DOMunder uitgeroepen tot overall winner van alle categorien. 

De Amerikaanse SPARK Award 2015 voor Interior Architecture of Public Spaces is toegekend aan DOMunder. SPARK 's mission and criteria for excellence are based on designing for the future. Highlighting the best new ideas and the best new solutions. SPARK's are big ideas embodied as great designs. The judges look for these big ideas while reflecting the key factors: Inventiveness and innovation, sustainability, elegance and beauty, durability, personal connection and aspiration.
